Currently a composer for film, television and multimedia, Roger began studying music in the ‘70s at The University of Florida where he began composing, arranging and producing live and recorded music. In the 80's, he produced recordings, concerts, and commercial jingles, winning several local and regional ADDY awards.
In the early 90's, Roger studied the culture and music of Latin America, writing, arranging and producing for a live band called Salsa Byte. In addition, he also was busy arranging for church ensembles, music copying, and recording and engineering.
In recent years, Roger has studied film scoring with Ron Jones (Family Guy, Star Trek, Next Generation, et al), with Lee Sanders (The Amazing Race, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, et al), and orchestration with John Kitts-Turner (Gainesville, FL) and Steven Scott Smalley (L. A.). After studying and working for a year in Los Angeles, Roger returned to Gainesville, Florida, where he continues to produce and score music for different venues.
